Artificial intelligence is a knowledge-based system. The cultures that treat knowledge as something to share are running a different race than the cultures that treat knowledge as a less important artifact, unworthy of investment and sharing. And the US is quickly devolving into a culture that frowns upon the preservation and sharing of knowledge, the antithesis of science, research and innovation.
